Text and Print version of each page


Located in the top left hand corner of each page is a hyperlink to the text and print version of the page



Text size adjustment


Below the text and print version hyperlink are the font decrease and increase buttons that control five preset font size settings. JavaScript must be enabled to use the text size adjustment buttons.


if you are browsing the web with Firefox or Internet Explorer and you don't have JavaScript enabled, you can change the text size by going to View > Text Size and making your desired choice.


You can also change the text size by pressing the Ctrl key and moving your mouse scroll-wheel, if you have one.


You can also use Ctrl and the plus and minus keys.



Web page zoom facility


Adjust the display size of the website by changing your browser settings at the menu. Example for Internet Explorer or Mozilla/Firefox: View > Font Size > Big


In Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox Browsers, you can also use CTRL+Mousewheel to zoom in or out.



Keyboard shortcuts


The keyboard shortcut keys allow you to navigate around the web page. To help you move around this site I have listed some the common shortcut key functions:


The left, right, up and down arrow keys move the cursor or selection one space or line in the direction of the arrow, or scroll a web page in the direction of the arrow

Clicking on the Tab key toggles through the Address Bar, Buttons and Hyperlinks from left to right going down the page.

Home             Moves the cursor to the beginning of a line or moves to the top of a web page

End                Moves the cursor to the end of a line or moves to the bottom of a web page

Ctrl & Home    Moves the cursor to the top of a document

Ctrl & End       Moves the cursor to the end of the page

Page Up          Moves the cursor up one screen

Page Down      Moves the cursor to the end of the document



How to use Access Keys and the Access Key list


In Internet Explorer you click on Alt key, the Access Key and the Enter key. Having completed this action you will navigate to the point you wish to go to.

Web page colour adjustment:


Internet Explorer - select Tools > Internet Options. On the General tab, click Colors. Change the settings as needed.


Netscape Navigator - select Edit > Preferences > Double click Appearance. An expanded list containing Fonts & Colours will appear. Click on each to make adjustments.


Adjusting Accessibility Settings:


Internet Explorer - select Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility. By checking and unchecking the Accessibility Settings the following can be adjusted - Ignore font styles, font colours and font sizing. You can also format documents using your own style sheet.


Netscape Navigator - select Edit > Preferences > Double click Appearance. An expanded list containing Fonts & Colours will appear. Click on each to make adjustments.
